Terms
Terms of Service
Effective: 26 October 2026
These terms govern the appointment booking, interpreter escort and schedule-care services (the "Services") provided by JEONGDO F&P Co., Ltd. (유한회사 정도에프앤피, the "Company"). The Korean version prevails in case of discrepancy.
1. Definitions
- "User" means a person using the Services under these terms.
- "Clinic" means a plastic surgery or dermatology clinic that the User has chosen to visit.
- "Service fee" means the amount the User pays the Company for the Services, distinct from medical fees paid to the Clinic.
2. The Company is not a medical institution
- The Company is not a medical institution and performs no medical act of any kind.
- The Company does not recommend specific clinics or procedures, and does not explain or guarantee the content, outcome, safety or cost of any procedure. All such explanations come directly from the Clinic's medical staff.
- Interpreting is limited to facilitating communication between medical staff and the User and contains no medical judgement or advice.
- The Company receives no referral fees, commissions or other consideration from clinics.
3. Services
- Appointment booking: booking consultations and visits at the Clinic chosen by the User, on the User's request, and confirming the details.
- Interpreter escort: an interpreter accompanies the User on consultation and visit days (Korean, Japanese, English, Chinese).
- Schedule and follow-up care: preparation and schedule reminders before the visit, help contacting the Clinic afterwards, and route or nearby-accommodation information on request.
- The Company provides only factual information to help the User choose a clinic (specialty, location, opening hours). The choice of clinic is the User's own.
- Escort services cover clinics located in Seoul; other areas are agreed in advance.
4. Application and contract
- The User applies through the enquiry form on the website.
- After a preliminary consultation, the Company sets out the scope and fee in writing (including email or messenger). The contract is formed when the User agrees.
- The Company may decline an application, stating the reason, where it cannot provide the Services.
- Applications are made by the User in person and the User must be 19 or older.
5. Fees and payment
- Service fees are quoted in writing after the preliminary consultation. Costs not in the quotation are not charged without the User's prior consent.
- Medical fees are explained and collected by the Clinic directly; the Company adds nothing to them.
- Payment method and timing follow the quotation.
- Service fees are stated in Korean won, and the quotation states whether VAT is included.
6. Changes and cancellation
- The User may request changes or cancellation; the Company re-coordinates the schedule according to the Clinic's guidance.
- The Clinic's own cancellation and change policies are explained by the Clinic; the Company is not involved in them.
- Refund terms for Service fees are stated in the quotation. Actual costs may be charged for cancellation after an interpreter has been assigned or has travelled.
7. Obligations of the Company
- To provide the agreed Services in good faith.
- To protect the User's information under the Privacy Policy.
- To notify the User without delay of schedule changes caused by the Clinic.
8. Obligations of the User
- To provide accurate information and give advance notice of schedule changes.
- To follow the Clinic's rules and the medical staff's instructions.
9. Limitation of liability
- Responsibility for medical acts and their results lies with the Clinic; the Company bears no liability for them.
- The Company is not liable for damage caused by circumstances beyond its control, such as the Clinic's circumstances, natural disasters or transport disruption.
- Where the Company's wilful misconduct or negligence causes damage, the Company compensates in accordance with applicable law. Compensation for ordinary damage caused by the Company's slight negligence is limited to the relevant Service fee; this limit does not apply to damage caused by wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
10. Personal data
The Company processes personal data under its Privacy Policy. The minimum information needed for a booking is passed to the Clinic chosen by the User, with the User's consent.
11. Disputes
- The parties resolve disputes through good-faith consultation.
- Failing that, these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and suits are brought before the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
- Disputes about medical care may be referred to the Korea Medical Dispute Mediation and Arbitration Agency; the Company provides procedural guidance and language support.
12. Notices
The Company gives individual notice through the contact method the User has provided (email, messenger, etc.). Notice to all Users may be given by posting on the website for at least seven days.
13. Interpretation
Matters not covered by these terms are governed by the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Civil Act and other applicable Korean law and commercial practice. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
